Abstract
:
This study aimed to identify the situation of practicing self-regulated learning strategies in distance education by teachers of learning disabilities in primary education. To achieve this objective, a descriptively analytical methodology was used through designing a questionnaire involving practices of self-regulated learning strategies in distance education categorized under three areas: cognitive strategies of self-regulated learning, metacognitive strategies of self-regulated learning, and motivated strategies of self-regulated learning. The sample of the study consisted of 56 female teachers of learning disabilities in City. The findings of the study showed that the degree of practicing the degree of practicing cognitive strategies of self-regulated learning by female teachers of learning disabilities wasaverage; and degree of practicing metacognitive strategies and motivated strategies of self-regulated learning by female teachers was weak. Based on the findings of the study, the study suggested conducting studies to identify training needs of female teachers of pupils with learning disabilities in environments of distance education especially the strategies concerned of self-regulated learning.
