Abstract
:
In view of the various medicinal properties of 6-azauracils and their derivatives. The present work deduced the synthesis of spiro 5-(fluoren-9-yl)-6-azauracil followed by its N-alkylated derivatives, in addition, N-hetero cyclic systems obtained via hydroxy methylation, methylation by Mannich bases or N-acylation, N-formylation after ring closure reactions with dinitrogen components. To confirm the former structures, spectroscopic analyses were used. Utility of 6-azauracil in the synthesis of new poly hetero cyclic nitrogen systems (isolated and fused) containing 1,2,4-triazine moiety via chlorination and hydrazinolysis. The new targets were produced from the ring closure reaction of hydrazine derivatives with bifunctional oxygen and nitrogen reagents in different mediums and conditions. The antioxidant activity of the new systems obtained was analyzed, the 1,2,4-triazine bearing a pyrazolone moiety showed a good to moderate activity.
