The study aimed at exploring the degree of availability and use of assistive technologies by teachers for students with learning disabilities in reading and writing in resource rooms of public elementary schools in Jeddah, and the challenges when using them, to achieve the objectives of the study, survey methodology was adopted by the researcher, the sample of the study was based on the descriptive survey method of (59) teachers of learning disabilities in public elementary schools in Jeddah, a questionnaire consisting of two parts was implemented: the first includes preliminary information for learning disabilities teachers, the second consists of two axes, the first axis includes the degree of availability of technologies and their use in (3) dimensions: Dimension of assistive technologies for students with learning disabilities in general, of (20) item, dimension of reading technologies In particular of (8) items, and dimension of writing technologies In particular of (9) items, the second axis includes challenges of using these technologies; and includes (3) dimensions: dimension of the challenges as follows (school administration, learning disabilities teachers, and students with learning disabilities), each dimension includes (9) phrases and an open question, study result of the availability degree of assisting technologies for students with learning disabilities came in with a medium percentage (58%), a high degree of use of (78%), for the challenges it received a medium degree of agreement (44%), the study recommended: preparing a special program for the provision of equipment, so the teacher can raise the required technologies and maintain devices when needed.
