:
The aims of this research:The aims of this research are as follow: To explore the pressures of family life that face female teachers; To study the differences between the pressures of family life that face female teacher in relation to the educational stages; To identify the relationship between the family life’s pressures that face the female teachers and their educational performance. To achieve these aims, this research uses the descriptive approach. It, also, prepares the search’ tool and makes sure of its validity and its consistency. This research was applied in female schools in Jeddah. It took random samples of female teachers from all educational stages. It is in order for answering the following question: what is the pressure of family life that female teachers face? Are there statistically significant differences in the average scores of the pressures of family life that had impact on the female teachers in relation to educational level? Is there a statistically significant relationship between the average degrees of the pressures that female teachers face and their educational performance? The results:the pressures of family life affect negatively female teachers. Therefore, the axis of “collapse” came as the first in order, which was followed by “lost” and “addition”. There are statistically significant differences in the average degrees on the pressures of family life of female teachers according to their educational levels, especially the female teachers of intermediate and secondary schools, while the degrees of pressure was low in relation to the female teachers of primary schools. There is inverse relationship between the weak and medium degrees between “Lost”, “Addition”, and “Collapse” and the pressures of family life, on one hand, and the educational performance on the other. The study recommendations:The Ministry of Education should prepare educational sessions for the female teachers. In order to enable them to deal with the pressures of family life and to overcome them. The decision-makers in the Ministry of Education should reduce the times of official working hours of female teachers of intermediate and secondary schools. The Training Department in the Ministry of Education should provide guidance programs for working mother to make a balance between her work and her family.
