Abstract
:
The Islamic Administration is a way of life which derives its approach from the Islamic main and secondary sources. In order to be applicable, there must be an Islamic environment, an Islamic leadership, and a goal that is compatible to Islamic religion. This paper discusses planning as one of the most important processes involved in administration based on Prophet Muhammad’s practice, peace and grace of Allah is upon him, during Medinah era. The objectives of this study are: 1. To show the important role of Islamic faith in planning. 2. To clarify the characteristics of the ideal Medinah society. 3. To benefit from the Prophet Muhammad’s approach in planning. 4. To encourage Moslems to go back to their Islamic thought and practice. 5. To add important information about Islamic administrative planning in support of the library of Islamic administration. The study defines Islamic administrative planning as a process of taking all Islamic permitted means by an individual or a group of people and benefiting from past and current lessons to deal with the future which requires leaning on Allah and be satisfied with what Shariah prescribed in order to achieve goals that are compatible with the five Islamic lawshaped principles. Namely, maintaining religion, life, mind, offspring, and wealth. Therefore, the concept and practice of Islamic administrative planning are directly attached to the strongly based faith of worshipping Allah. The study also indicates that administering the newly formed Islamic state during Prophet Muhammad Medinite era reflects the aspects of successful administrative planning.
